Reflecting a growing trend in New Mexico and nationwide, the New Mexico Junior College (NMJC) just switched to synthetic grass landscaping – conserving over three million gallons of water per year while saving hundreds of thousands of dollars.
They worked with SYNLawn, the largest artificial grass company in North America, to create 182,000 square feet of beautifully manicured green spaces that eliminates the need for pesticides and fertilizers while reducing maintenance costs. An increasing number of local businesses, institutions and homeowners are switching to artificial grass for the same reasons – and the trend is making a positive impact on our environment.
