SYNLawn is pleased to announce the newest addition to our family: accomplished horticulturist Mark Hill. Mark will be available, and serving as General Manager, at the Las Vegas SYNLawn store. Mark’s knowledge and the depth of his experience strengthens the potency of our solid team and guarantees that our customers will continue to receive quality landscape advice from the company that provides the best artificial grass available.

In his admirable career, Mark has supervised a team of 35 gardeners and 5 lead gardeners, provided technical assistance for the Nevada Division of Forestry and served as landscape foreman specializing in xeriscaping applications. He has served as the Horticulture Manager for the Regent Las Vegas and as the Landscape Supervisor for the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. In his last position, as the Exterior Horticulture Manager for the Wynn Design and Development team, Mark’s life changed. Mark was at the Wynn when the highly regarded application of SYNLawn’s artificial grass was installed. His experience with synthetic turf was limited prior to the installation, so Mark wasn’t sure what to expect. He thought the sun would fade the rich color and the daily traffic of tens of thousands of feet would destroy the turf. Over time, it wasn’t the SYNLawn artificial turf that broke down, it was Mark’s skepticism. The fact that the color didn’t fade and the grass remained durable impressed Mark. His doubt was replaced with regard and because SYNLawn is designed to impress, Mark began noticing the additional benefits of the application. He found he appreciated being able to focus his attention on landscape projects other than the constant maintenance of the property’s natural grass. Mark’s positive experiences with SYNLawn’s artificial grass led him to extol our virtues at a meeting of the Southern Nevada Arborist Group. Taking into consideration the direction of Las Vegas landscaping, Mark joined SYNLawn with the confidence that the possibilities and potential at SYNLawn were abundant. Although it’s like adding a marquee player to a championship team, we’re pleased that Mark Hill shares the vision of SYNLawn and we look forward to many great years of providing the best synthetic alternative to natural grass.
